Built in 1970 by architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the Port Royal Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 course that stretches over 6,842 yards and features picturesque ocean views. Due to the significant changes in elevation and its numerous bunkers and water hazards, Port Royal has earned a reputation as one of the most challenging and exciting courses in the sport of golf.

Golf Digest has ranked Port Royal among the world’s best public courses, and the New York Times has named it the finest course in Bermuda. Port Royal also earned a 2015 World Golf Award as Bermuda’s Best Golf Course. Certain golfing authorities and aficionados have singled out Port Royal’s 16th hole as one of the world’s greatest par 3s.
